Perhaps you are already enrolled in a language school, such as Athens Centre, and would like some extra help with the homework? I can offer lessons in Modern Greek especially designed for Danish/Swedish/English-speaking (all levels, including conversation) either as private lessons or in small groups. If you are living outside Greece we can arrange distance learning sessions through Skype.

I have extensive experience with teaching Greek to Scandinavians and English speakers. My private students, who visit me at the heart of Athens, get the opportunity to progress at their own pace. More than simply giving them my undivided attention during our sessions, normally lasting around 1-2 hours at a time, I am able to specially design the lessons to suit their specific demands and abilities. I also arrange Greek lessons in groups but prefer to keep them small, maximum 3-4 people, to make sure that there is as little “competition” as possible between the students in order for everybody to get as much individual help and attention as possible.

For several years now, I have been teaching Modern Greek grammar to Norwegian university students at a summer course organized by the Norwegian Institute at Athens. Through these intensive 2-month courses I have learnt many valuable lessons about the best, most efficient, as well as enjoyable ways to learn and absorb a foreign language.
